hey, friends!

I’m Tanya
A former CPA who fell back in love with the outdoors after taking my first solo hike in 2019 and never looked back. I grew up roaming the countryside in Belarus, moved to the United States at nineteen, and eventually traded spreadsheets for trail miles, building a life around hiking national parks and chasing bucket list adventures around the world.
Along the way, I founded the Outdoorsy Singles hiking community, learned how to backpack, and tackled everything from Half Dome and Patagonia to Norway, New Zealand, and the Canadian Rockies. Now I share practical trail guides, itineraries, and honest planning advice to help you hike with confidence, discover unforgettable places, and experience the wild landscapes that changed me.
